The Ultimate Cake Serving Guide
Cake Serving Guide and Chart
Our sizing guide for the Signature Cakes we create at Vee’s Bakeshoppe. These images are a sample of how you can cut your cake to achieve the suggested number of portions based on a 1” x 2” serving. All our cakes are made from four layers of sponge with a finished height of approximately 4-6” *, so while it may seem as though the servings are slender, they do have accommodation in the height.
We also realize that some of you might like really big pieces of cake - and that’s okay! We love cake too! However, we do have to remind you that your personal choice of serving size doesn’t change the guidelines we use, and will need to be taken into consideration when you’re deciding which cake size to purchase.
