Rich Peach Simple Syrup

Ingredients
- 4-6 large peaches, pitted
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 2/3 c. agave nectar
- 1 c. filtered water
Instructions
Thoroughly wash peaches and dice, leaving the skin.
Combine sugar and water in a saucepan, then add in diced peaches. Stir in agave nectar.
Heat contents in the saucepan over medium heat, occasionally stirring until the sugar has dissolved.
Bring the mixture to a boil. Allow boiling for 2 minutes until peaches are tender.
Reduce heat to low and allow to simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
Allow syrup to cool for up to 2 hours before handling.
Strain syrup using a fine mesh strainer and decant it into a container for storage.
You may keep the simple syrup may in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
