Sweet & Spicy Seared Tuna

Ingredients
- 2 Ahi tuna steaks
- 2 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp sesame
- 1 Tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 Tbsp butter
Instructions
In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, pepper, and cayenne pepper. Whisk until mixed well.
Pour over tuna steaks, covering both sides and allow to marinate for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Remove from refrigerator and allow to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes before cooking.
Melt butter in a cast iron over high heat. Sear tuna steaks for 2 minutes on each side
Best served hot with garlic brown rice, sauté shredded cabbage, and/or roasted asparagus.
Tip: To sauté cabbage using the same skillet, melt a tablespoon of butter in the cast iron and deglaze with white wine. Add cabbage to skillet, and cook for 2-3 minutes.
